As much as I appreciate Gertie, the blonde down the block, she's always been just a bit too girl-literally-next-door, if you know what I mean. She's cute, but let's face it, she's getting older, and despite the myriad articles in women's magazines about how 40 is the new 30 and more mature women should feel empowered, youth is still better. Abby here is only about a year old, making her so impressionable and sweet. If only I wore clothes, just so I could have her do my laundry.
